“Fresh Hop Strong IPA” The Brewers Gold hops that we used fresh, from Sodbuster Farms in the Willamette Valley, had a longer growing season, resulting in a more intense hop aroma and mouthfeel. Less fruity than its Red-headed cousin (see below) and a tad sweeter on the palate, the hop character in the KG delivers herbal notes, toward mint and oregano with a hint of the Jamaican highland. Fresh IPA was the first Fresh Hop beer we ever packaged. Each year we look for the newest, tastiest hops on the planet, then we take them – fresh off the bine – and dump them into a beer. This year, we loaded up the hop back with 500 pounds of Fresh Strata Hops from Coleman Agriculture.

Full of bright, zesty fresh Strata, Fresh IPA (2024) has been finely tuned and perfectly calibrated to go well with the end of summer, the beginning of the hop harvest, shorter days, longer nights, an increase in spiders and a decrease in sunburns.

From the bine, to the can, to your taste buds in just a matter of days, Fresh IPA is best consumed FRESH.

Maori for “outrigger canoe,” Waka Ama honors the vibrant traditions of Pacific Islander culture and their storied influence on watersports in The Columbia River Gorge. In collaboration with the Gorge Canoe Club, we utilized every New Zealand hop available to craft a crisp and clean Pale Ale bursting with tropical flavors of citrus rind and pineapple, complemented by exciting floral aromatics. Rindless Watermelon Gose is a refreshing kettle sour brewed with watermelon, lime, and Jacobsen Sea Salt. The beer pours with a beautiful rosy orange color and features subtle aromas and flavors of watermelon candy and lime zest, balanced with a touch of salinity. This summer-time sour ale is soft, bright, and thirst-quenching.

The resulting beer is bursting with loads of lupulin goodness that hop heads won’t want to miss out on. Layers of flavor and aromatics burst from every sip of this vibrant IPA. A mélange of fresh citrus, mango, lemongrass, honey, and tropical fruit make this version of a house favorite something special.

The iconic hop experience ale you all know is slammed with a fresh hop treatment! Using fresh-picked Citra hops from Alluvial Hop Farms, we immediately cryogenically froze the hop cones and shattered them straight to the tank for a fresh hop blast, all within a few hours.

Our 5th Anniversary cider release. We took a pink lady base sourced from Apple Hill and blended it with a Pinot noir rosé wine sourced from the Sierra foothills. The result is a dry, effervescent cider reminiscent of Provence Rose wine.

This German Style Helles Lager uses hops later in the brewing process to layer flavors on top of its malt backbone. She toes the line between a classic and a new way forward. Some may see her as an ugly departure from brewing practice, while others will accept and see the beauty of what she is.

Ferment Woodsman Porter embodies the spirit of Ferment. Malts from England, Belgium, Germany, and Chile come together in a mash imparting a rich, fruity character. This Cuvée is the pick of the peach tree. A select amount of our Pêche Mode racked off
of the fruit and rested in new oak barrels. Farmhouse funk and juicy peach lead to a dry oak finish.

This ruby black Oatmeal Stout is brewed with pale malt and specialty dark malt with rich notes of roast, chocolate ganache, cold brew, and caramel softened by a smooth oat body

A golden wild ale aged in Cognac barrels. After extended aging, this was transfered into oak tank and refermented with Oregon Peaches.

Warm, smooth, sweet dried fruit and vanilla complement a commanding Brandy character. This remarkably limited version was 100% barrel-aged for 12 months in Brandy casks.

Blonde ale prior to the addition of Rainier cherries from the Columbia River Gorge. Our two house yeast strains are blended with Brettanomyces lambicus, and are allowed free reign for a year on the fruit to develop its complex character. Pie cherry, kiwi jam, and summer farmhouse take the lead, giving way to a juicy, refreshingly tart finish

Our hefeweizen is of the classic Bavarian variety. Made with 70% wheat, lightly hopped with German Hallertauer, it’s refreshing and slightly dry with the beguiling banana and clove notes that give away the provenance of the true weizen yeast we use. This is a German-style wheat beer the way it should be–no lemon needed to make up for inadequacy.
