Traditional cream ale with a mixed base malt foundation conditioned on a blonde roast from Lionheart Coffee

Produced for Function Northwest’s 8th Anniversary

Double-decocted black bock brewed strongly with Münich and Roast malts and fermented extremely cold with our secret heritage lager yeast and finished with an excessive, hibernative lagering schedule. This iteration of German bockbier is our dirge to the Fall.

Juicy and unfiltered, Phaser Hazy IPA stuns with a lively array of fruity hop notes. Phaser features Citra, Azacca, Mosaic, Motueka, and Calypso hops.

Berry jam forward, with a citrus finish from dry-hopped Citra & Mosaic hops.

Insatiable Fresh Hop IPA showcases Fresh Centennial hops, grown just 40 miles from the brewery at Goschie Farms. These hops are picked at peak freshness and raced to the brew kettle to be used immediately. This IPA has a clean, dry malt profile and a moderate bitterness with notes of lemon, pine, and fresh cut grass

Lucia, our fresh hop Hazy IPA was brewed with fresh hop Simcoe from @colemanagriculture

This beer was made with our friend Lucian of @ultima_brewery from Romania.

We used a simple pilsner base malt and then added in heaps of malted and flaked wheat, chit malt and flaked oats for a soft and light mouthfeel. Then we soaked these fresh Simcoe hops with hot wort before fermenting and adding a small dry hop of more Simcoe hops. This gives us a wonderful lemon lime aroma with slightly grassy undertones. Fruit punch and citrus flavors are found through out this beer.

Lucia is named after Lucians grandmother and we are honored to be able to share this beer with you all.

Brewed in honor of our office mascot Henry the Chameleon, this fresh hop version has all the underpinnings of the classic Henry IPA, but with a massive hit of fresh Centennial hops. This beautiful flower came straight from our friends at Coleman Agriculture. Prost Henry!!

Every September brings the Green Rush: the annual influx of brewers and beer lovers to the Yakima Valley to search out the best fresh hops. We’ve got a front row seat on our family hop farm, and this year, we’ve again partnered with the legendary Russian River Brewing Company to create a fresh hop IPA that tastes like striking gold – fresh hop gold, that is.

This fresh hop West Coast IPA features freshly picked homegrown Simcoe® hops for vibrant aromas of grapefruit, peach, mango, and resin.

In the first of our employee collaboration beers to mark our 7th anniversary, Taproom Manager Rachael Andrus has concocted a traditional style saison using Pilsner and Vienna malt. Imperial rustic yeast gives off fruity esters with a bit of spice on the back end.

PRICKLY PEAR BERLINERWEISSE collaboration with FALLING PIANO BREWERY

A Prickly Pear Berliner as beautiful as it is pink. Vibrant, refreshing and perfectly prickly, Colabadorable was designed for summer drinking. We brewed this pink drink with 25 pounds of prickly pear per barrel. Ultra bright, ultra refreshing watermelon Jolly Rancher flavors are cool and refreshing until the last sip.

Colabadorable was brewed with our friends at Falling Piano Brewery in Mexico City, Mexico for the first ever MXPDX Beer Festival in Portland. Falling Piano knows a lot about summer drinking – they have three times as much summer as we do.

Hops: Saphir, Berliner Blend

Styled after the many great Doppelbocks of Germany, this dark, malty lager is fermented with a traditional bock yeast and imported MFB and Gambrinus malts to aid in obtaining some of that local authenticity.

Let me tell you, I’ve had the pleasure of personally sampling this in advance and it’s so freaking stunning, Yokosuka shipped us dried ginger root harvested from their region in Japan’s Kanagawa prefecture and the ginger lemon combo is super smooth, tart and a little ginger kick all in harmony.

Drinks like a Tiki-Drink! Something Like Love, is a semi-tart and fruity ale ready for drinking under the sun! Refreshing, bright, and invitingly tart. Stone fruit and expressive berries lead the way, while a fun light “peppery” finish sets this beer apart from other fruited ales you are use to. The Pacific Northwest has always been home to great beer and great beer culture, but craft beer and specialty ales are only part of the story.

There was a time when delicious, balanced, “macro-style” lager was being brewed in our backyard. That time is gone, yet’ we’re still drinking the beer that used to be made here. We want to change that.

Introducing Douglas. A classic, delicious Pacific Northwest lager brewed and bottled right here, using ingredients grown right here.

A bold yet balanced American Pale Ale with slight caramel sweetness and aggressive citrus hoppiness. This is our flagship beer.

Each batch of pFriem Pumpkin Bier is made with fresh pumpkin and real spices in addition to the standard malt and hops. That’s why every pint is overflowing with aromas of vanilla, notes of cinnamon and touch of caramel. We think you’ll agree that it’s just as flavorful as mom’s pumpkin pie and there’s no baking required.

Coming in at 7.3% ABV and 69 IBUs, this beer brings big tropical aromatics along with lasting hop flavor and finish. Fresh Outta Portland was brewed with over 100 pounds of Indie Hops’ fresh Strata Hops grown at Goschie Farms. These hops came straight from the farm to the brewery, nitrogen frozen, and put directly into the packaging tank. The fresh Strata hops are accompanied by Oregon-grown Chinook and Meridian hops, rounded off with dry hopped Mosaic.

Basque-style cider from the Columbia River Gorge

A golden wild ale aged in Cognac barrels. After extended aging, this was transfered into oak tank and refermented with Oregon Peaches.

Warm, smooth, sweet dried fruit and vanilla complement a commanding Brandy character. This remarkably limited version was 100% barrel-aged for 12 months in Brandy casks.

Robot Panda is a fruity and juicy Hazy IPA that is easy drinking from start to finish. This Hazy IPA balances a soft and fluffy malt body with big hop additions of Denali, Lemondrop, and Cascade. It’s the perfect Hazy IPA to kick off the summer.

This blend of two separate Willamette Valley vineyards brings together the warmer microclimate of the Eola-Amity Hills with the cooler areas of the Cascade Foothills; adding both bright acidity and ripe aromatics.
