As winter makes its arrival, so does the tradition of “winter warmers”. Snow Cave is our take on a warming, winter ale to usher in the season.

A hearty malt backbone gives notes of toffee, fir and toasted bread crumbs for a malty and slightly sweet base. Fruity notes from Crystal, Galaxy and Cascade hops balance the maltiness for the perfect first winter beer of the season to be enjoyed by a cozy fire – whether that’s out in a snow cave or your own fireplace.

Move along, nothing hazy to see here. Van Henion IPA utilizes a blend of cascade, centennial, citra and lotus hops for a balanced, yet hoppy, flavor profile and bright golden hue. This Pacific Northwest style IPA shines with every sip.

Traditionally brewed German-Style Doppelbock, dry hopped with Mandarina Bavaria for an American twist to add a hint of hoppiness on the finish. Made with all German ingredients.

Deep aromas of rich toasted malt and light caramel notes. Faint chocolate like aromas with a hint of tangerine and spice from the Mandarina Bavaria dry hop. Rich and Malty on the palette with low bitterness to let the malt shine. Malty sweet on the tongue but finishes clean and not cloying. The Mandarina Bavaria hops provide a slight citrusy tropical note that don’t overpower the deep malty flavors and clean lager characteristics.

A smooth, faintly malty, medium-bodied Witbier with lemongrass and coriander.

Quick Wit has been a staff and local favorite for over a decade. For years this subtly spicy, positively citrusy Witbier was available in 16oz 4packs. While you can’t get Quick Wit off the cooler shelves aymore, it remains one of our most-requested beers.

Malt is Pilsner, 2-Row Pale, and some flaked corn. Blue Agave extract was added in the whirlpool. Hops are from our friends at Loza Farms Wapato Washington: Citra, Comet, and Cascade.

Nicely balanced Saison with notes of fruit, spice, floral, and a bit of bubblegum. Finishes Dry.

The ultimate session-able IPA. Brewed with a blend of Northwest hops with Citra and Mosaic at the forefront. Body of premium organic malts from US & Germany. Subtle yet complex malt profile.

Taking our base kettle sour beer and exploding it with an abundance of fruit, like fresh pineapple juice. We added Chinook hops and the tart acidity comes in waves from the pineapple, as well as an addition of key lime. Finally, a small amount of True Terpenes Pineapple Paradise gives it an extra punch of tropical fruit!

Loyal to the Block is a small-batch West Coast IPA made in collaboration with Loyal Legion. It uses Nectaron, El Dorado, Citra, and Simcoe hops and is generously dry-hopped with Nectaron, Citra, and El Dorado. Full of bright citrus notes, this beer is perfect for toasting

Pours a light and vibrant shade of cherry blossom pink, under a bright white cap of foam, with champagne like effervescence. Opens with vibrant aromas of fresh wild strawberries, grapefruit, watermelon, and a hint of peach. These ripe aromas carry over to the palate and are accented by notes of fresh florals, mint, and minerality. Finishes soft and dry with tart cherry on the tongue.

We combine fresh blueberries with our barrel-aged Lambic-inspired ale to make pFriem Bosbessen. Its aromas of ripe fruit, white pepper and tobacco lead to a bright, jammy flavor that finishes as tart and tangy as the berries themselves.

In Belgium, Old St. Nick delivers a bundle of sticks to those who have behaved badly throughout the year. Just to be safe, we suggest foregoing cookies and leaving Santa a pFriem Belgian Christmas Ale. Brewed with coriander in a rich, Dubbel base, its toffee aromas and hints of fresh, ripe orange will leave a milk-chocolaty velvet coat on Santa’s tongue and guarantee that you won’t be getting sticks this year.

Belgians say, “Op uw gezondheid’” when toasting, but you don’t have to speak Flemish to appreciate the bold, complex flavors of fig dipped in dark chocolate, ripe fruit and toffee in this immense Ale. Op uw gezondheid!

Cozy up to the fire with a pint of pFriem’s Winter Ale and gift your taste-buds with hints of spice, orange zest, caramel and a touch of spruce tree. You may even sense the subtle notes of fruitcake, which might encourage you to share this Winter Ale with your family and friends. Unlike fruitcake, this is a beer that will not be re-gifted.

We use 2.7 pounds of fresh apricots per gallon of our Lambic-inspired Ale, to make pFriem Abrikoos. That may sound like a lot, but once you taste the pungent aromas of sweet dried apricots, grape, and cantaloupe and tart and tangy notes of baked lemons, pineapple nectar and canned peaches, we think you’ll agree, it’s just right.

Ferment Woodsman Porter embodies the spirit of Ferment. Malts from England, Belgium, Germany, and Chile come together in a mash imparting a rich, fruity character. Hop varieties from England and the Pacific Northwest combine with wild foraged Doug Fir tips to lend earthy evergreen notes. Facial hair and flannel optional.

This bewitching beer presents itself with an obsidian hue that captures the essence of a moonless night in the heart of Bohemia. Aromas of dark fruit, caramel and subtle dark chocolate waft from the glass, promising a journey into the unknown.

New England-Style IPA with Citra, Simcoe, and Idaho 7 Hops – Fresh hopped with Mosaic Hops (2020)

Experience the lucisous balance of hop character and drinkability with ample additions of sticky lupulin packed hops, full throttled hop aroma, resiounou body and succint finish of this benchmark NW IIPA.

Our hefeweizen is of the classic Bavarian variety. Made with 70% wheat, lightly hopped with German Hallertauer, it’s refreshing and slightly dry with the beguiling banana and clove notes that give away the provenance of the true weizen yeast we use. This is a German-style wheat beer the way it should be–no lemon needed to make up for inadequacy.

The story of pilsner starts in 19th century Bohemia when a Bavarian monk smuggled a special yeast to a brewmaster in Pilsen. The story of pFriem Pilsner starts in the Pacific Northwest where it acquires the aroma of fresh grass and flowers and a touch of honey. While there are no monks involved in this pilsner, there is still a crisp and spicy finish.
