Fresh Pow is a winter IPA featuring resinous, citrusy, and tropical American and New Zealand hop varietals alongside a warm malt base designed to balance this wintry hop experience. Brewed in cooperation with Ashland artist Chris Herbst, Fresh Pow will be brewed often and released fresh throughout the winter.

Inspired by Mexican hot chocolate, we crafted this rich and decadent chocolate stout with vanilla, cinnamon and a blend of chilies

Emulating one of craft brewing’s most iconic styles, this amber lager doesn’t disappoint. A blend of Northwest and German barley generates hearty notes of water crackers, toasted bread crust, and caramel candies. Hand-selected, Oregon-grown hops balance the beer with a floral, fruity, and herbal finish.

German Style Hefeweizen. Not your Widmer.

German style hefeweizen has traditional notes of clove, banana and bubble gum flavors. Keeping with the style the hazy golden color and medium body present a great warm weather beer. The hop profile is light and is there just enough to not make the beer sweet or too malty.

Big, malty, hoppy. Five malt varieties commingle to create a dark red color with a balances malt base. Late kettle additions and dry-hopping with Ultra and Sterling hops bring out the NW Red’s defining character. A lot’s happening under the surface here; like it is with the mighty Columbia River, rolling right outside our window

Lisa from Heater Allen, Andrew and Tim from Modern Times, and Kevin from Wayfinder were blown away with some of the new school pilsners brewed in Italy right now. They’re crazy expressive new-world riffs on German-style pilsners, typically dry-hopped with modern Euro hops. Taking some hints from the Italians, we hopped this with 2#/bbl of spice heavy German hops; Spalt Select and Tettnanger. Then we dry-hopped it with Polaris and more Tettnanger, krausened with fresh Czech Pils wort, spunded and cold-conditioned to perfection

Harris, our West Coast IPA, is respectfully brewed for Conrad’s Grandfather. This new West Coast classic is brewed with Citra, Centennial, Chinook, and Amarillo hops. We use a large addition of Citra Incognito to give this beer a resiny citrus pop! This beer boasts flavors of pine, orange marmalade, and lime.

Pizza Pals is the perfect beer for pizza: A super opaque, pale yellow hazy IPA. Dense guava and overripe fruit aroma, flavors of candy melon and orange zest with a smooth, soft bitterness and mild, comforting sweetness.

GERMAN STYLE PILSNER

We’re surrounded by water in Astoria: the ocean, the river, lakes and creeks and tidal flats, shipping channels, bridges, jetties and bays.

Fort George Pilsner is as rare and magical as our many waters: cold, strong, crisp, bright, full of character, with a gentle and refreshing bitterness.

Brewed in collaboration with Zoiglhaus Brewing Co., our Festbier is crafted with heirloom German malts and balanced with Kazbek and Hallertau hops. Our Kölsch beer was created with all German malts and hops. The subtle aroma has notes of baking bread and pear. The flavor is slightly grainy, with a touch of honey-like sweetness and has a hint of citrus and herbs. The soft malt finish is simultaneously delicate and refreshing. This beer was brewed to celebrate the storied tradition of beer and community. Prost!

Very dry, but full of flavor. English cider apples impart significant tannins, hallmark acid balance and just the tiniest hint of funk. Notes of earthiness, grapefruit peel and wild fermentation.

Our head brewer Mike Hunsaker has had this recipe in his pocket for a while. Light and dry with flavors of tropical fruit, pine and dank grapefruit. Drinks like an old friend.

To make this Pilsner, the Portland Lager legends teamed up with their pals at Topwire Hop Project — a must-visit beer garden located ON the Crosby Hop Farm in Oregon. They started with a quenching, crushable base then added a thoughtful dose of the farm’s own estate grown Sterling Hops.

The culmination of years of experimenting with this modern interpretation of IPA, Pop has a lush, pillowy body and a complex, fruit forward hop character. Big juicy notes of mango, melon, berries, and limeade abound in this hazy brew.

Summer is great but you know what else is great? Spring. Fort George endeavors to bring a new, refreshing lager to every season and no lager style is better suited to spring on the North Coast than a nice, soothing amber lager. With its rich toasty malts, its low, soothing sweetness and a balanced, clean finish, you might as well be drinking the lager equivalent of a wool sweater, a thermos of strong tea, and the sound of the ships in the shipping channel blasting their fog warnings in the morning mist.

Iredale Amber is a toasty amber lager with a rich biscuit aroma and a very slight bitterness.

Van Henion Helles Lager is a medium-bodied, classic German-style beer with a striking golden color and heady pour. Brewed with German hops, premium German Malt and yeast. This style of lager has become a staple among brewers for its drinkability and bright tasting notes. Afterall, “helles” translates to light, in German.

Druif Rouge is our largest foray into the world of wine grapes. We paired our Lambic-inspired ale, aged in French Oak barrels, with Pinot Noir grapes from our friends at Trisaetum Winery. The result is Druif Rouge, featuring aromas of watermelon auf dark berries, and notes of juniper, plum, and kiwi. Enjoy the union of grape and grain!

Carefree island vibes are deliciously delivered with Las Piñas, our refreshing ode to sunnier days. Barrel-aged with fresh, chopped pineapple, this golden hued beauty is your liquid passport to the tropics. A delicious dance partner with rich game meats, Mexican mole and chocolate desserts.

Spontanée is a tart, complex and funky wheat ale, inspired by the traditional lambics of Belgium. Brewed with local malt and aged hops, then rested in our koelschip in Cascade Locks to capture the local flora needed to begin its spontaneous fermentation. This labor of love rewards us with a wonderfully complex beer, with bright citrus notes and deep earthy funk. A toast to the greats that inspire us daily. Santé!

We combine fresh blueberries with our barrel-aged Lambic-inspired ale to make pFriem Bosbessen. Its aromas of ripe fruit, white pepper and tobacco lead to a bright, jammy flavor that finishes as tart and tangy as the berries themselves.

Belgians say, “Op uw gezondheid’” when toasting, but you don’t have to speak Flemish to appreciate the bold, complex flavors of fig dipped in dark chocolate, ripe fruit and toffee in this immense Ale. Op uw gezondheid!

Each batch of pFriem Pumpkin Bier is made with fresh pumpkin and real spices in addition to the standard malt and hops. That’s why every pint is overflowing with aromas of vanilla, notes of cinnamon and touch of caramel. We think you’ll agree that it’s just as flavorful as mom’s pumpkin pie and there’s no baking required.

Although it is best served ice-cold, there is no need to shake or blend this margarita-inspired ale. The kettle-soured wort was fermented with lime and orange juice to create a crisp and refreshing concoction. We hope you find a sunny corner of the world to enjoy it!

Watermelon Wit is a fun foeder aged beer using a classic Belgian wheat beer base with coriander and bitter orange, then matured in oak with watermelon purée and a little brettanomyces.

Ferment White River Saison Ale follows in the tradition of the small farmhouse breweries of Wallonia. We combine malts and hops from the Belgian, French, and German countryside, which then ferments with yeast captured from the wind on the slopes of Mt. For our first Dry Cider, we kept it simple and local. Newtons and old world cider apples from the Double Mountain Orchard were pressed and fermented on our house yeast strain. We gave it plenty of time to dry out and develop wondrous aromas of juicy pear, lychee, green fruit, and chamomile. It finishes tart, crisp, dry, and quenching. 6.7% ABV, Gluten Free
